Prof. Christopher Smith appointed Executive Chair of the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council #

Prof. Christopher Smith, University of St Andrews, Scotland, member of the Classics and Oriental Studies section of Academia Europaea was appointed as the Executive Chair of the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council.

The Arts and Humanities Research Council is the major UK non-governmental public body responsible for funding of Research in the Humanities in the UK.
