The President of the International Balzan Foundation "Prize" Alberto Quadrio-Curzio and the Chairman of the Balzan General Prize Committee Luciano Maiani will announce via live streaming the names of the 2020 Balzan Prizewinners.#
- Sierd A.P.L Cloetingh MAE (President of Academia Europaea) will present the prizewinner for EARTH SYSTEM DYNAMICS.
- Carlo Wyss will present the prizewinner for Environmental Challenges: MATERIALS SCIENCE FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY.
- Donatella della Porta MAE will present the prizewinner for ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGES: RESPONSES FROM THE SOCIAL SCIENCES AND THE HUMANITIES.
- Antonio Padoa Schioppa will present the prizewinner for HUMAN RIGHTS.
