Wolf-Hervé Fridman is not only a pioneer in Tumor Immunology of world class - he was the first to show that the immune infiltrate has a major impact on patient prognosis - , but he has also created the “French school of tumor immunology”.

Among his students who have become leaders in the field at a highly recognized international level, one can cite, Sebastian Amigorena, Jérôme Galon, Franck Pagès and Laurence Zitvogel.
