RESEARCH POLICY

Research policy achievements as a vice rector for research at KULeuven include the promotion of excellent science, internationalisation and visibility of KU Leuven. I also installed starting grants to support early career scientists and a scientific integrity program on the prevention of scientific misconduct. As LERU member, I attended policy meetings at U.Oxford, U.Zurich, U.Helsinki, U. Paris-Sud, U.Milan, U.Lund, Imp. Coll. London, U.Heidelberg, Ch. U.Prague, U. Freiburg, U.Utrecht.
