Doctorate Honoris Causa for Antoine Bailly#
On October 21, 2016, Antoine Bailly, Chair of the Social Sciences section of Academia Europaea, will be honored by the University Ioan Cuza of Iasi
, Romania. Prof. Antoine Bailly developped, since 1978, strong ties with the oldest university in Romania, despite the political problems of this period. The Department of Geography of this university has a world reputation, due to Professor Alexandru Ungureanu. The Doctorate will be given by the Vice-Rector, Corneliu Iatu.
Prof. Bailly already holds Doctorate Honoris Causa from the University of Lisbon, Portugal, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and University of Quebec.
