Three members of the Organismic and Evolutionary Section elected to the Royal Society#


The Royal Society has announced that 80 outstanding scientists and scholars from around the world have been elected as Fellows, Foreign Members and Honorary Members. Among them three belong to the Organismic and Evolutionary Section of Academia Europaea, with Professor Sutherland been elected this year as AE member:

Jane Parker, Senior Research Group Leader, Department of Plant-Microbe Interactions, Max-Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research, Germany

William Sutherland CBE, Miriam Rothschild Chair of Conservation Biology, Department of Zoology, University of Cambridge and Professorial Fellow, St Catharine’s College, Cambridge
