Prof. Dr. Zheng has secured a total of over 11 million US dollars and 28 million RMB funding from major agencies in the US and China in the past years, among which are 16 consecutive grants with a total budget of over 11 million dollars from NIH, 5 grants with a total budget of over 13 million RMB from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and 1 grant with a budget of 15 million RMB from The National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program). These consecutive grants ensured continuous progresses of Dr. Zheng’s research team.
