Alexander J.B. Zehnder - Biography#

Visiting Professor and member of the Board of Trustees of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and heads NTU’s Sustainable Earth Office which coordinates NTU’s sustainability activities. He is founder and director of triple Z Ltd., co-founder of NanRise Pte Ltd. His former positions were: (i) president of the ETH Board, (ii) director of Eawag (Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology), (iii) professor in Environmental Biotechnology at of ETH Zurich, Switzerland; (iv) professor and department head Microbiology at Wageningen Agricultural University, The Netherlands, and (v) assistant professor Stanford University, USA. His PhD is from ETH Zürich.
