Born 1940, Radom, lived in Warsaw 1941-1944, then in Cracow, Wrocław (1979-1988), Cracow and Sucha Beskidzka. Married 2 children, School (elementary and secondary) in Cracow, 1947-1958. Studies: Jagiellonian University, law 1958-1963, philosophy 1960-1964. Dr of law - 1968, habilation 1972 in legal theory and philosophy, professor in 1991. Appoitments: Jasgiellonian University 1963-1979, Department of Legal Theory, Technical University of Wrocław, Institute in Social Sciences, 1979-1988, Jagiellonian University 1988- (emeritus in 2010, but still teaching.
Member of Polish Academy of Sciences (2011), Polish of Academy of Arts and Sciences (2001), International Institute of Philosophy (2004), the president of European Society of Analytic Philosophy, (2005-2007). American Mathematical Association (2000).
