Research activities:

a) Evaluation of interactions between antiepileptic drugs and antiepileptic drugs with agents affecting different neurotransmitter systems in animal model of seizures

b) Testing a hypothesis that Alzheimer’s disease may be associated with episodes of brain ischemia –measuring of expression of a number of relevant genes in hippocampus and cortex of rats exposed to global brain ischemia
