Stefano Bartolini - Biography#

Stefano Bartolini last held the position of Peter Mair Chair in Comparative Politics in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the European University Institute, San Domenico di Fiesole (Italy), where he is now Emeritus Professor. Before, he held positions as Professor of Political Science at the Universities of Trieste, Geneva, Florence, and Bologna as well as numerous short-term or visiting positions at universities worldwide. His main research interests are in comparative politics, the analysis of political parties and elections, and political theory.
