Career:
  • 1985: Enters CNRS (French National Center for Scientific Research) as a researcher in pure mathematics, Paris
  • 1990: Humboldt Fellow in Germany
  • 1997: Six months in Japan with a J.S.P.S scholarship
  • 2000: Research Director at CNRS, working at Université Paris 6
  • 2002: Working at DMA, École Normale Supérieure, Paris
  • 2009: Research Director 1st class at CNRS
  • 2012: Working at Université Paris 6, Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu

Some responsabilities:
  • 2000-02: Responsible for the Paris node of the European network GTEM
  • 2004-08: Nominated to the National Committee of the Départment de Mathématiques at CNRS
  • 2005-11: Director of the series of mathematical monographs "Astérisque" (French Mathematical Society)
  • 2006-09: Responsible for the Paris node of the network ANR "Galois theories"
