Roman Murawski - Biography#


Roman Murawski studied Mathematics at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (1967-1972), and Theology and Philosophy at Poznan Pontifical Theological Faculty (1975-1985, obtaining the degree of Licentiatus of Sacra Theologia.) From 1977-1979 he was a doctoral student of Mathematics at Warsaw University. R. Murawski obtained his PhD in 1979 on the strength of a dissertation on models of Peano arithmetic, and achieved his Habilitation in 1992. The President of the Polish Republic nominated him as Professor of Philosophy in 1992.
