  • Molecular pathogenesis and genetics of bone and soft tissue sarcomas
  • Development and validation of (dynamic) contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of bone and soft tissue tumours
  • Elucidated the tumour suppressor function of EXT1/2 in chondrosarcoma
  • Cloned causative mutations in the IDH1 and IDH2 genes
  • Osteosarcoma (SMAD and GLI-mediated pathways, del P16 and stem cell tumourigenesis)
