Since 1991: research at sea in the Arctic (30 days), Atlantic (51 days) and Pacific (196 days) Oceans, the Mediterranean (31 days) and Black (60 days) Seas, during 14 expeditions (chief scientist for 3 of them); in addition, 5 field campaigns (chief scientist of 4) in coastal Mediterranean deploying large in situ mesocosms (120 days)
