Fabrice Correia - Biography#


Correia holds the Chair of Analytic Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Geneva since 2017, and is Co-Director, with Kevin Mulligan, of the research group in metaphysics eidos since its inception in 2007. He previously held the Chair of Logic and Contemporary Philosophy at the University of Neuchâtel.

His main philosophical interests are in metaphysics, philosophical logic, the philosophy of language, the philosophy of science, epistemology and the philosophy of mind.

Correia has published 3 books, 3 edited volumes, and about 50 articles in internationally renowned venues. He has been in charge of 10 research projects, including 2 projects financed by the European Commission, and 1 Consolidator Grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation (the Swiss equivalent to the Consolidator Grant awarded by the ERC). He is the supervisor of a total of 14 PhD theses.
