Jean-Michel Coron - Biographie#

Jean-Michel Coron is scholar with excellent and high impact results in various fields of Mathematics. Apart from the scientific production itself, he has created a school in the control theory by the supervision of an important number of first class students who are now at the top of the field worlwide. He has also had a very important editorial activity, with the creation of two journals and as editor in a large number of important international journals. He is very active as member of the French Academy of sciences and he has also been very active in the animation of international networks, as for instance, as coordinator of a French-Chinese collaborative network funded by the CNRS and some Chinese universities.

He has been professor at University Paris 11 and at Sorbonne University.
Member of the French Academy of Sciences since 2014.
Director of the Sino-French International Associated Laboratory for Applied Mathematics
