  • June 1977: - Maîtrise de mathématiques (Paris 7).
  • July 1978: - Agrégation de mathématiques.
  • June 1979: - Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies de Mathématiques (Field : "Ergodic Theory", University of Paris 7).
  • 1980-1981: - Scholarship of the Foundation Singer-Polignac on a project to go to China to study the relationships between mathematics and culture (Travel Scholarship granted every two years to four students graduating from French Grandes Ecoles). Studies on the history of mathematics in China at the Institute for the History of Natural Sciences, Academia Sinica, China.
