Donald B. Dingwell elected member of the Royal Academy of Sciences and Arts of Barcelona#
Professor Donald B. Dingwell, President of Academia Europaea and Director of the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München
(LMU), has been elected as Foreign Member of the Reial Acadèmia de Ciències i Arts de Barcelona
(RACAB).
The Catalonian academy, founded in 1764, consists of seven sections, including the section of Earth Sciences. It plays a vital role in the scientific landscape of the city and the region and counts ca. 40 foreign members to its membership.
