In accordance with our Statutes Academia Europaea hereby gives notice that the 2026 Annual General Meeting of members of the Academy will be held in Budapest.

The AGM meeting is planned to take place in the BÁLNA (Whale Event Center), 1093 Budapest, 11-12 Fővám Square in the Zrínyi Room, starting at 17:40 on 13 October 2026. Zoom will be available for members unable to attend in person.

All AE members are welcome to attend in person.

Any member(s) who wish to table a specific item for inclusion into the agenda MUST submit their request in writing to the Executive Secretary (London office) no later than 20th September 2026.

The draft agenda and all documentation for the AGM will be available at the Academy website from 1st October.

Members will receive a notice for the 2026 E-ballots on specific business motions in due course.
