Gian Paolo Rossi selected to give the 2023 Richard Underwood Memorial Lecture#
Professor Gian Paolo Rossi, member of the Clinical and Veterinary Science section of Academia Europaea since 2022, has been selected to give the 2023 Richard Underwood Memorial Lecture at Harvard University. This is one of the most prestigious award to honor the late Richard Underwood, who developed the first assay for aldosterone in the '50s.

annually awards the "Richard Underwood Memorial Visiting Professorship" to the scientist who most distinguished himself in research on the endocrine causes of arterial hypertension.
This year the prestigious recognition (23rd since its establishment) was assigned for the first time to an Italian researcher, Gian Paolo Rossi, professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Padua and Director of the Veneto Regional Specialized Center for blood pressure disorders.
