In the frame of the From Knowledge to Action initiative
, the Academia Europaea Budapest Knowledge Hub
launched 29 different research projects in 2025. The aim of the “Empowering women in science within Europe with emphasis on the Danube Region” project coordinated by Eszter Gselmann
(University of Debrecen, Hungary) and Katalin Solymosi
(ELTE Eötvös Loránd University, Hungary) is to increase the visibility of women in science in the region and to support their career development. The first workshop of this initiative provided insights into how to prepare and edit Wikipedia pages.
