In a time of global division, environmental strain, and moral uncertainty, the call for peace has never been more urgent. Yet true peace cannot be achieved through politics alone — it must be rooted in wisdom. The DIALOGUES4PEACE, held in Athens, from 25th to 27th October 2026, at Eugenides Foundation, organized by European Academy of Sciences & Arts, World Academy of Art and Science and Kapodistrian University of Athens, invites scholars, thinkers, and practitioners from all over the world to rediscover the timeless principles of harmony, balance, and justice found in ancient civilizations — from Greece, Egypt, China, and India to Israel and its biblical wisdom, as well as Indigenous and spiritual traditions across the world.

This first conference will examine how classical philosophies, ethical systems, and cultural heritages can inspire practical strategies for peacebuilding, education, intercultural dialogue, and sustainable living in the 21st century. Central to the discussion is the moral logic of Nemesis - the timeless Greek lesson that hubris leads to downfall - a message that resonates deeply with today’s breakdown of global cooperation and social trust.

The event is endorsed by Academia Europaea.
