The Copenhagen City Heart Study
celebrates its 50 year anniversary on the 5th March 2026 by a Symposium entitled: "Copenhagen City Heart Study through 50 years". The symposium will take place in Bispebjerg Hospital, University of Copenhagen.
The program will focus on the history and the outcomes of the study, which have resulted in 1300+ publications in peer-reviewed journals, as well as multiple PhD theses and doctoral dissertations.
Professor Gorm Boje Jensen MAE, elected as member of the Basic and Clinical Translational Sciences Section in 2025 is one of the organizers of the symposium.
