Ida Blom - Curriculum vitae#

Born in Denmark. Worked in Switzerland, Britain and France, married in Norway, 2 children, studied at the University of Bergen.

Member of the UNESCO-commission 1983-92.

Professor of women's history, University of Bergen since 1985, now professor emerita.

Founder and first president of IFRWH, the International Federation for Research in Women's History 1987-95.

Co-organiser of the 1 1/2 day programmes of the IFRWH at the Wordl History Conferences in Madrid in 1990, in Montreal in 1995 and in Oslo in 2000
