Elisabeth Pacherie is a CNRS researcher director and head of the Agency Team at Institut Jean Nicod, a research lab in philosophy, linguistics and cognitive science hosted by Ecole Normale Supérieure. She has held visiting positions in universities and research institutions around the world, including the Central European University in Budapest, New-York University, the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, Macquarie University in Sydney, the University of Arizona at Tucson and Berkeley. Her publications in the philosophy of mind and in the philosophy and cognitive science of actions include one authored book, five edited books and special issues of journals, over one hundred articles and book chapters. She has given a large number of invited talks at international conferences and organized or co-organized over thirty international workshops, conferences and summer schools, including recently the 19th International Conference of the Association for the Scientific Study of Consciousness (Paris, 2015) and the International Conference of Psychological Science (Paris, 2019). She has supervised 10 post-doctoral researchers and PhD students and over 30 master students. She has held collective responsibilities in science management (e.g., as co-director of the department of Cognitive studies at ENS (2006 - 2008), member of the National Committee of CNRS (2004 - 2008, 2012 - 2016) and of the ERC Panel Advanced Grants SH4 (2008 - 2016)). She served on the board of the European Society of Analytic Philosophy (2000 - 2003), the Société de Philosophy Analytique (2003 - 2006), the European Society for Philosophy and Psychology (2006 - 2008), the Association for the Scientific Study of Consciousness (2006 - 2008; 2015), the International Social Ontology Society (2012-present. She is currently president-elect of the European Society for Philosophy and Psychology and of the Association for the Scientific Study of Consciousness.\\ \\
