Dr. Majeti is a Professor  at The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, USA. Dr. Majeti has been a prolific researcher and passionate teacher, and he served the profession admirably. Dr. Majeti is known for his significant contributions to the field of rationale design of polyesters and their application to nanomedicines through the authorship of over 100 peer reviewed publications (cited as [Kumar MNVR|https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=yAZxXggAAAAJ&hl=en]). \\ \\
Dr. Majeti received his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from Nagarjuna University, Guntur, India in 1992, and Master of Science (MSc) degree from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, India in 1996. He obtained his PhD (2000) degree in Drug Delivery from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. He was a postdoctoral scholar at Department of Preventive Medicine and Environmental Health, University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, USA (2000 - 2002) and Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at Department of Biopharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology, Saarland University, Germany (2002 - 2003).\\

Dr. Majeti returned to India in 2003 and took up his first independent academic position, Assistant Professor at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali. In 2008, following an international search, he was actively recruited to the tenured full professor of drug delivery at Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow-UK, a position he held until October 2013 before joining Texas A&M University. Very recently, he is actively recruited to his current position at The University Alabama University in Tuscaloosa, a position he started on Jan 14, 2021. He has held Guest Professor at University of Navarra (Spain, 2008), Distinguished Foreign Professor at Seoul National University (South Korea, 2010), Guest Professor at University of Padua (Italy, 2011), Distinguished Foreign Professor at Shandong University (China, 2011) and Guest Professor at University of Torino (Italy, 2012).\\ \\
