__Major Scientific Contributions__
\\ \\
1)-(Cell 1999 - PNAS 2000) Description of three structural states of the conventional myosin head. \\
2)-(Nature 2003 - EMBO J 2004) Description of the strong affinity state of myosin for actin\\
3)-(Nature 2005) Structure of the reverse motor Myo6 at the end of the powerstroke – \\

5)-(PNAS 2006) Description of the lever arm of an unconventional myosin. First structure of a calmodulin bound to a target in the absence of Ca2+.\\
6)-(Cell 2007) The structure of Myo6 prior to force generation reveals the cryptic origin of the large amplitude of the powerstroke. \\
7)-(Mol Cell 2009) Structure of the atypical lever arm of Myo6. Demonstration of the unfolding of a triple helix bundle upon dimerization of the motor to generate a long lever arm.\\
8)-(Mol Cell 2012) Myo6 uses a kinesin-like mechanism to step, and not a simple swinging lever arm mechanism like Myo5.\\
