My main research interests include:
(i) Effects of climate and its variations on landslide hazards and risk;
(ii) Geological, geomorphological, and hydrological processes and hazards;
(iii) Numerical and statistical modelling for landslide susceptibility, hazard, and risk assessment;
(iv) Remote sensing techniques for landslide detection, mapping, and modelling;
(v) Dissemination and outreach on natural hazards and their consequences;
(vi) Landslide prediction, at different spatial and temporal scales;
(vii) Geo-ethical issues related to natural hazards research and applications; and
(viii) Impact of natural hazards on the population and the built environment:definition text.
