*2019 EURASIP Fellow: The European Association for Signal Processing (EURASIP) most prestigious honor in recognition of outstanding achievements in the broad field of Signal Processing and in particular in Computational Brain Imaging. Awarded during EUSIPCO 2019 (La Corũna, Sept. 2-6, 2019)
*2019 3IA Côte d’Azur Chair Award "AI Based Brain Connectomics" Awarded in Oct. 2019 for a period of 4 years as part of the 3 IA Université Côte d’Azur. A 3IA Chair is considered in France as an indicator of national class research in AI
*2016 ERC Advanced Grant: "Computational Brain Connectivity Mapping" - Awarded for 2.46 MEuros and a period of 5 years by the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program. An ERC AdG project is considered in Europe as an indicator of worldclass research across all academic disciplines
*2014 Doctorate Honoris Causa awarded by Sherbrooke University (CA) to distinguish my achievements and carrer as image processing, computer vision and computational brain imaging expert and recognize my efforts and approach to engaging and educating generations of young scientists
*2013 EADS Grand Prize (Computer Science) awarded by the French Academy of Sciences. This exceptional Grand award  recognizes the achievements of a scientist in a French laboratory who has made exceptional contributions to the vitality and influence of computer science research while building outstanding cooperation with industry (50 KE)
