Vincent Crawford is Drummond Professor of Political Economy, University of Oxford; Fellow of All Souls College; and Distinguished Professor Emeritus and Research Professor, University of California, San Diego. His research focuses on game-theoretic microeconomics, with emphases on bargaining and arbitration, strategic communication, matching markets, learning, and coordination. His current research areas are behavioral and experimental game theory and behavioral economics more generally. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the British Academy, and the Econometric Society. He currently serves as an editor of Games and Economic Behavior; and on the boards of Oxford Economic Papers and New Zealand Economic Papers. He has previously served as co-editor of the American Economic Review; on the boards of the the Journal of Economic Literature, Econometrica, the Journal of Economic Theory, and other journals; and on the American Economic Association’s Honors and Awards Committee and review panels for the U.S. National Science Foundation.

Crawford has given invited or plenary lectures at the Econometric Society Seventh World Congress; the Far Eastern Meetings of the Econometric Society; the First and Third World Congresses of the Game Theory Society; the International and North American Meetings of the Economic Science Association; the 26th Arne Ryde Symposium; and the Barcelona International Meeting in Experimental and Behavioral Economics. He has also given mini-courses at the Sixth Jerusalem Summer School in Economic Theory; the University of Bonn; Berkeley; University College London; National Taiwan University and Academia Sinica; National University of Singapore; Singapore Management University; the Paris School of Economics; the Stockholm School of Economics; the Louvain-la-Neuve ECORE Summer School; and SIRE, University of Edinburgh.
