\\
__Scientific activity:__
\\ \\
In the first period he worked in the field of nuclear spectroscopy, and together
with his collaborators achieved outstanding results, among others in studying
bremsstrahlung accompanying radioactive decay processes. From the 1970 years on his
interest was focussed on the research of ion-atom collision processes. Significant results
were obtained on the capture of electrons by bombarding ions into continuous state. He
has more than 200 scientific papers published mainly in well known journals of the
fields.
