The disciplines involved often engage in concrete policy advisory activities to support evidence-based policy making. The major research outlets are peer-reviewed international journals where research articles are published, to a lower degree scientists publish in collected volumes or write books. Dissemination strategies involve public contributions to the media. Recent topics covered among others are migration and identity; financial markets; regional economics; and climate change.
