The plenary sessions will also include the [2021 ERASMUS MEDAL|Acad_Main/News2_Archive/Erasmus Medal 2021] and Heinz-Nixdorf  lecture, The [AE GOLD AWARD|Acad_Main/Activities/Awards_and_Prizes/Gold_Award] and lecture, The [2022 Andre MISHKE prize|Acad_Main/News2_Archive/YAE PRIZE 2022] of the Young Academy of Europe, and the [2021 Barcelona City HYPATIA Science prize|Acad_Main/News2_Archive/BARCELONA HYPATIA EUROPEAN SCIENCE PRIZE] presentation and lecture ceremony.

[Professor Sierd Cloetingh|Member/Cloetingh_Sierd], former President of Academia Europaea, will receive the Academia Europaea's [Gold Medal|Acad_Main/Activities/Awards_and_Prizes/Gold_Award] (Laudator: [Dr Robert-Jan Smits|Member/Smits_Robert-Jan]) and the internationally renowned Economics scholar, [Professor Philippe Aghion|Member/Aghion_Philippe], will be awarded the [Erasmus Medal|Acad_Main/News2_Archive/Erasmus Medal 2021], [Professor Nancy Cartwright|Member/Cartwright_Nancy] will receive the 2021 Barcelona City HYPATIA Science.
