!!Tbilisi Regional Knowledge Hub
!Academia Europaea and the Young Academy of Europe will formally launch a new Regional Knowledge Hub in Tbilisi (Republic of Georgia) on 24%%sup th/% April 2019.

The President and members of the Board of Trustees together with invited members of Academia Europaea will be present to sign a cooperation agreement that establishes our fourth Regional Knowledge Hub, to be based at the Ivane Javakhishvili  University in Tbilisi.

The launch event will take place in the presence of the __President of the Republic, Her Excellency Ms Salome Zurabishvili__, __The Prime Minister, the honourable Mr Mamuka Bakhtadze__, __the Minister for Education, Science, Culture and Sport – Mikheil Batiashvili__, __the head of the Parliament Mr Irakli Kobakhidze__, __the Rector of the University Prof. G Sharvadshidze__ and __the President of the Georgian Academy of Sciences, Prof. Roin Metreveli__, plus members of the Academia Europaea and the wider academic community.

A one–day symposium will take place on Thursday 25th April to mark the event. A further symposium has been arranged on Neuroscience for September.
