__As the Academia Europaea Cardiff Knowledge Hub concludes its activities on 1 January 2026, we wish to express our heartfelt thanks to [Professor Ole Petersen|Member/Petersen_Ole] MAE CBE FRS, Academic Director, and to Louise Edwards, Juliet Davies, Alice Sadler and all members of the Hub team, for their excellent work and dedication over the past ten years.__

__Since its launch in 2015, the Cardiff Hub has played a vital role in delivering Academia Europaea’s mission to promote learning, education, and research of the highest quality. The Hub has been a centre of excellence for scientific collaboration, knowledge exchange, and policy engagement across Europe.__

__It has made significant contributions to major European science-policy initiatives, strengthened links between academia and decision-makers, and supported the activities of our members and the wider scholarly community.__

__I am sure that the membership at large joins me in extending our sincere appreciation for their professionalism, commitment, and impact. Their work has left a lasting legacy within Academia Europaea and indeed within Europe itself.__
