If you think long enough, you will solve this... so don't look at the solution too early#

Peter asks John: "How old are your three daughters now?"

John replies: "Well, I will let you calculate their age, all of course in whole numbers: The sum of their ages is equal to the number on your apartment. The product of their ages is 36."

Peter thinks quite a while and then says: "Sorry, this is not enough information for me."

John answers: "Ok, I help you a bit. The oldest of the three is blond."

Peter smiles: "Now all is clear."

Is it also clear to you, dear reader? How old are the three girls?

NOTE: This is no joke or dirty trick, you have all the information necessary to determine the three ages.

Think for a while, but before you are completely frustrated, click on Solution. #
